Donald Trump addressed supporters at the Faena Forum in Miami. He demanded recognition, saying he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. He argued that without him, nobody deserves the award. Trump claimed his record as a peacemaker surpasses all current leaders. The remarks drew applause from supporters and criticism worldwide.
Iran’s Military Is ‘Completely Destroyed,’ Trump Claims
Trump told the crowd that Operation Epic Fury had achieved its primary objective decisively. Specifically, he claimed that Iran’s military capabilities have been completely destroyed and that Iranian leadership is now actively begging for a peace deal. Additionally, Trump claimed that Iran currently has no functioning air defence systems remaining. Furthermore, he stated that the US still has 3,554 identified targets remaining and would determine its next military steps in the coming days.
In his signature style, Trump referred to the Strait of Hormuz as the “Strait of Trump” during the address. He added that the Middle East is now close to being permanently free from what he described as Iranian terror and nuclear blackmail.

101 Missiles Intercepted, Cuba Could Be Next
Trump also addressed a recent missile attack during the speech. Specifically, he claimed that 101 missiles were launched at a major US underwater military target, which he described as the world’s largest aircraft carrier. Furthermore, he stated that American forces successfully intercepted and destroyed every single missile fired. Consequently, he framed the interception as further evidence of American military supremacy under his leadership.
Trump directly named Cuba as a possible next target for American military action. He did not provide any specific details about the nature of potential actions. Furthermore, he gave no timeline for when the United States might act against Cuba.
Trump Recalls Killing of Qasem Soleimani
Trump revisited the January 2020 drone strike that killed Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani in Baghdad. The US Defence Department justified the strike by stating Soleimani was planning attacks on American personnel. Trump described the killing as one of the most defining moments of his entire presidency. He further suggested that Iran’s own leadership felt privately relieved by Soleimani’s death inside. However, he acknowledged that Iranian officials would never publicly admit that feeling to anyone.
NATO and the UK Take Sharp Criticism
Trump used the Miami address to criticise both NATO and the United Kingdom directly. Specifically, he recalled a conversation with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and mocked British aircraft carriers, describing them as small and slow. Furthermore, he suggested they functioned more like helicopters than serious naval vessels. Together, the remarks drew immediate criticism from British officials and NATO allies.
However, Trump reserved specific praise for Middle Eastern allies. Additionally, he singled out Bahrain and Kuwait for their support of American operations and contrasted their cooperation with what he described as NATO’s repeated failures to support the United States adequately.
Trump closed several segments of his address by emphasising American military dominance. Specifically, he claimed the US possesses weapons that the world has never seen and that only a small number of people even know exist. Furthermore, he stated that much of this military strength was built during his first term in office. Currently, Iran, which he described as the bully of the Middle East for 47 years, is, in his words, now on the run.
