Speculation over a possible split in Shiv Sena UBT has intensified after reports suggested that six MPs travelled to Delhi. According to political buzz, these MPs may join Eknath Shinde’s faction. Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s son Shrikant Shinde brought several MPs to Delhi via private jet. Reports also suggest that Eknath Shinde was already present in the national capital during the developments. Among the names circulating in discussions, Nashik MP Rajabhau Waze drew attention.
Delhi Visit Clarification by Rajabhau Waze
Rajabhau Waze has strongly rejected claims of any defection meeting. Speaking to ABP News, he stated that he did not travel to meet Eknath Shinde. Instead, he clarified that his visit to Delhi was strictly for a committee meeting. Additionally, he said he had no information about MPs joining the Shinde-led Shiv Sena group.
Furthermore, Waze issued a firm political stance supporting Uddhav Thackeray. He stated clearly that he stands with Uddhav Thackeray and will continue to do so. Moreover, he denied any communication with Eknath Shinde or his camp. He also added that no one contacted him regarding any political shift. According to him, he remains committed to Shiv Sena UBT without dissatisfaction.
Sanjay Raut’s Statement and Counter Claims
Meanwhile, Sanjay Raut addressed the situation through an X post. He stated that Rajabhau Waze attended an industry committee meeting in Delhi. Additionally, he said that misleading narratives were being spread about the visit. At the same time, Hingoli MP Nagesh Ashtikar also clarified that he stayed in Hingoli and did not travel to Delhi.
Speculation Around Seventh MP Continues
However, political discussions continue around Dharashiv MP Omraje Nimbalkar. Reports suggest he may be linked with “Operation Tiger” and currently present in Pune. Notably, he is known for a major electoral victory of 3.5 lakh votes over Archana Patil. That margin stands among the highest in the country and the highest in Maharashtra.
Meanwhile, speculation continues that six MPs reached Delhi recently. Additionally, political chatter suggests a possible seventh name linked to Omraje Nimbalkar. However, no official confirmation has emerged regarding any final shift or defection outcome.
