Udaipur : Newlyweds Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda made their first public appearance as a married couple at Udaipur airport on Saturday. The couple arrived hand-in-hand, smiling as they greeted fans and onlookers. The crowd, filled with well-wishers, cheered and chanted congratulations. In return, Rashmika and Vijay thanked everyone with folded hands and blew kisses.
Traditional and Contemporary Styles Blend in Their Appearance
Rashmika looked radiant in a traditional red anarkali suit, complemented by gold bangles. She wore pasupu kommalu, turmeric stems tied with gold bangles on threads, a South Indian pre-wedding tradition symbolizing purity and auspicious beginnings. These will later be unified into a gold chain to form a mangalsutra, representing her marital status.
Vijay looked dashing in a silver kurta and pyjama, accented by a gold chain and black shades. His modern touch to the festive look was evident, with the couple’s coordinated yet distinct styles reflecting both tradition and modern elegance.

Rashmika and Vijay married on February 26, 2026, in an intimate ceremony at the luxury ITC Mementos, Udaipur. Close family and friends attended the event, which beautifully blended Vijay’s Telugu rituals and Rashmika’s Kodava (Coorgi) customs. The celebrations included a traditional mandap ceremony and personalized elements honoring both families’ cultural heritages, making the event deeply meaningful.
