Prateek Yadav’s Sudden Death at 38 Leaves Questions Before Postmortem

Prateek Yadav, son of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, died after his health suddenly worsened. He was 38. According to available information, family members rushed him to Civil Hospital. However, he died on the way before reaching the hospital.

Doctors received him in a dead condition and then declared him dead. Prateek Yadav was the husband of BJP leader Aparna Yadav. Aparna currently serves as vice-chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh Women’s Commission.

According to information, Prateek reached the hospital at 5:55 am. However, he had died before hospital arrival. The body has gone for postmortem. Therefore, the exact cause of Prateek Yadav’s death may emerge only after that report.

Illness, Medanta Admission, And Family Visits

Earlier, Prateek Yadav had fallen ill around one week before his death. Due to illness, family members admitted him to Medanta Hospital in Lucknow. Later, his condition became stable, so relatives brought him back home.

During his Medanta admission, Akhilesh Yadav and Dimple Yadav also visited him. Prateek remained serious about fitness and often shared fitness-related photos and videos. However, information about how and why he died has not come out yet.

After his death, Lucknow Police will visit Aparna Yadav’s house. Police have taken Prateek Yadav’s phone into custody. Also, officers will record the circumstances inside the house before his hospital transfer.

Family sources said Prateek Yadav was found unconscious in the kitchen at home. At 4:55 am, people present in the house informed the hospital about his condition.

Yogi Adityanath Expresses Grief

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed sorrow over Prateek Yadav’s death. He referred to him as Mulayam Singh Yadav’s son and Aparna Yadav’s husband. He said, “Prateek Yadav ji’s sudden demise is extremely sad. Humble tribute.”

Prateek came from a political family, yet he personally stayed away from politics. He was the son of Sadhana Gupta, the second wife of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav.

His wife, Aparna Yadav, belongs to the BJP. She also serves as vice-chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh Women’s Commission. Meanwhile, Prateek was also Akhilesh Yadav’s stepbrother.

Aparna Yadav and Prateek Yadav married in 2012 after a long relationship. At that time, people counted their wedding among Uttar Pradesh’s most high-profile marriages.
