Following the Speaker’s initiative, Om Birla personally spoke with floor leaders of different political parties. Consequently, the ruling side and opposition reached an agreement. Both groups decided to hold detailed discussion on the bill Tuesday.
This agreement strengthened the spirit of dialogue and cooperation inside the House. It also reflected parliamentary discussion over important national matters.
Anti Paper Leak Bill Aims To Stop Examination Fraud
The bill focuses on preventing paper leaks, cheating and organised examination mafias. It also aims to control other unfair practices in public examinations. During Tuesday’s debate, different parties may present suggestions and amendments. Afterwards, the government will respond to these recommendations. Following the discussion, the bill will move forward for approval from the House.

Jitendra Singh Introduced Bill After Nationwide Protests
Union Minister Jitendra Singh introduced the anti-paper leak bill in Lok Sabha on Monday, July 27. The introduction came after nationwide protests against the NEET paper leak continued for several weeks. Members from the ruling party supported the bill by thumping their desks. Meanwhile, the Speaker allowed amendments until 1 PM. However, opposition protests prevented discussion on the bill that day
