War between the U.S. and Iran has intensified drastically, escalating tensions across the region. The United States attacked six Iranian states simultaneously, prompting Tehran to strike back, targeting three U.S. bases on Monday, July 13. Iran aimed at Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, employing deadly missile and drone assaults.
IRGC Confirms Multi-Nation Attacks
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for coordinated strikes in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan. Tehran targeted fuel tanks and missile depots at Jordan’s Prince Hassan Airbase. Meanwhile, Bahrain’s U.S. drone command center faced a destructive attack. Iran also warned Donald Trump that continued U.S. aggression could destroy additional bases.
Defensive Claims by Jordan and Kuwait
Jordan asserted it intercepted four incoming missiles fired by Iran. Kuwait reported active air defense countering enemy missiles. Al Jazeera noted that Kuwait’s General Staff confirmed multiple missiles were successfully intercepted.
Scale of U.S. Retaliation
Fox News reported that the U.S. forces struck approximately 140 Iranian military targets overnight. Over three nights, total attacks surpassed 300. Iran responded over the weekend, targeting U.S.-associated locations and neighboring countries. Kuwait confirmed damage to three northern border posts, and one drone struck an offshore oil platform injuring a worker.
