CJP Founder Reacts to Resignation
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke welcomed Pradhan’s resignation, calling it a democratic victory. He reiterated that CJP will continue peaceful protests at Jantar Mantar until demands are fully met. Dipke acknowledged relief that Sonam Wangchuk ended his 26-day hunger strike, emphasizing the value of his life for the nation. He confirmed the upcoming meeting with central ministers would be held at a neutral venue.
Opposition Leaders Hail Student Victory
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge praised students for taking India’s education reforms seriously. He stated the youth’s activism reached the threshold of accountability. Kharge emphasized that students’ voices have secured justice and pressured the government. He demanded Prime Minister Modi apologize to students and take strict action against those who misused force.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal congratulated the students and called the resignation a significant democratic achievement. Wangchuk also hailed the outcome, describing it as a triumph of patience, nonviolence, and determination.
