Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has closed four stations amid ongoing protests in the capital. The decision came due to security reasons during the continuing movement. DMRC shared the update through its official post on social media platform X.
According to DMRC information, authorities closed Janpath, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, and Central Secretariat including 16 metro stations. The closure may increase difficulties for daily passengers travelling through these areas.

Due to Security reasons Janpath, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk and Central Secretariat metro stations have been closed till further instructions. Interchange facility is available at Rajiv Chowk and Central Secretariat.

DMRC Announces Closure Until Further Notice
DMRC stated that security concerns led to the temporary closure of these stations. The corporation announced that the stations will remain shut until further instructions.
The announcement mentioned that Rajiv Chowk and Central Secretariat will continue offering interchange facilities. However, passengers cannot access normal services at these stations during the closure period.
Meanwhile, commuters using these routes may face inconvenience due to the temporary restrictions. DMRC continues monitoring the situation before further updates.
