CBSE began re-evaluation and verification for Class 12 2026 results. Moreover, over 4,04,319 students requested access to answer sheets. Additionally, total requested answer copies reached 11,31,961. However, the portal failed today due to maintenance, delaying applications and increasing student anxiety.
Digital Answer Availability
So far, CBSE provided approximately 8.98 lakh answer sheets digitally. Furthermore, the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system was used to ensure faster, transparent evaluation. Nevertheless, students questioned this system, citing low scores or missing answers in scanned copies. Consequently, several screenshots and complaints went viral on social media, intensifying scrutiny.
Fee Revisions for Re-Evaluation
CBSE reduced fees for post-result services. Students now pay ₹100 per subject to access scanned copies and verification. Moreover, re-evaluation fees are charged per question. Therefore, the board aims to ease financial burdens and ensure proper scrutiny of answer sheets.
How Students Can Apply
Students dissatisfied with marks may first download their scanned answer sheets. Furthermore, they should review question checks and total marks carefully. If discrepancies exist, they can apply for Verification of Marks or re-evaluation. Additionally, final marks after re-evaluation will be binding.
