Twisha Sharma Case Intensifies: CBI Arrives at Giribala Singh’s Bhopal Home After Bail Cancellation

After the High Court revoked Giribala Singh’s anticipatory bail, CBI reaches her bungalow, mapping key locations linked to Twisha’s death

Twisha Sharma’s suspicious death case in Bhopal has escalated as retired judge Giribala Singh faces fresh scrutiny. Her anticipatory bail ended late Wednesday night at 1 am, prompting a CBI visit to her bungalow Thursday morning. The team mapped the entire property, including the spot linked to Twisha’s alleged hanging. Her son, Samarth Singh, already remains in CBI custody, and investigators continue questioning him.

Heavy Media and Local Attention

The Baghmugalia area saw heavy activity from early Thursday as media and officials gathered outside Giribala Singh’s residence. Speculation suggests her arrest could happen anytime, though authorities have not confirmed it. On Thursday morning, she stepped out briefly to feed street dogs near her home.

Family Alleges Dowry Harassment and Murder

Twisha died on May 12 night in Bhopal’s Katara Hills area. Her family has accused Samarth Singh and Giribala Singh of dowry harassment and murder, while both accused claim it was suicide.

High Court Cites Serious Concerns

Madhya Pradesh Advocate General Prashant Singh noted that the High Court considered pre-death injuries, lack of cooperation, and WhatsApp messages indicating mental harassment. These factors contributed to the bail rejection.

All Eyes on CBI Action

Now, all eyes remain on CBI’s next step as the case enters a decisive investigation phase.
