Deepika Nagar’s suspected death case in Jalpura village, Greater Noida, continues to grow serious. Meanwhile, her postmortem report has now come forward. The report mentions several external and internal injuries on her body. Therefore, police and forensic teams are examining every angle carefully.
According to the postmortem report, Deepika’s body had deep wounds, swelling, and pressure marks. The report also recorded a serious contusion on the right side of her face. That injury measured nearly 12 centimetres long and 9 centimetres wide. Moreover, doctors noted injury marks on her left elbow and forearm.
The report listed the most serious external injury on Deepika’s right thigh. Doctors found a deep blue pressure mark there. It measured nearly 38 centimetres long and 14 centimetres wide. Additionally, the report confirmed a deep wound reaching the bone on her left knee. Injury marks also appeared around her waist and lower abdomen.
Doctors also found a blood clot, or hematoma, in the middle and left side of her brain. Besides this, the report mentioned internal bleeding in several body parts. Police consider these injuries serious. As a result, investigators are moving forward with these findings as key points.
The postmortem team suspected possible poisonous substance involvement. Therefore, doctors preserved Deepika’s viscera and sent it for examination. Now, the toxicology report may bring clearer details about the death cause. Police officials said the viscera report will form an important part of the investigation. Accordingly, they will decide further action after reviewing those findings.
Family Accuses In-Laws Of Dowry Pressure
After Deepika’s death, her maternal family made serious allegations against her in-laws. The family said they gave a Scorpio vehicle during the wedding. They also claimed they gave gold worth lakhs and heavy cash. Even then, according to them, the demands from her in-laws did not end.
Relatives alleged that Deepika faced pressure to bring a Fortuner vehicle and ₹50 lakh cash. They also claimed she suffered constant mental and physical harassment. Because of the case’s seriousness, police have already arrested her husband and father-in-law.
Deepika’s father, Sanjay Nagar, has made a grave allegation. He claimed that someone first beat his daughter brutally. Then, according to him, they threw her from the roof, which caused her death. Currently, police are investigating every angle using the postmortem and forensic reports.
