Prateek Yadav, son of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, died on Wednesday morning. Moreover, his death under suspicious circumstances created immediate concern. After the news spread, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav reached the hospital. Then, he spoke with doctors who handled Prateek Yadav’s postmortem.
Now, Prateek Yadav’s PM report has come out. According to the report, cardiac arrest caused his death. However, doctors still need further tests for final clarity.
Report Mentions Clot, Lungs, And Cardiac Arrest
The postmortem report says doctors found a blood clot on Prateek’s body. Then, the clot moved from the lower body toward the upper section. After that, infection affected the artery and lungs. Consequently, cardiac arrest occurred, and Prateek died.
However, doctors have not fully clarified the real cause yet. Therefore, they preserved the viscera for further testing. Also, they kept the heart for possible re-examination later.
Three Doctors Conduct Postmortem
According to sources, three doctors from King George Medical University handled the postmortem. Doctor Mausami Singh led the process. Additionally, forensic expert Doctor Anoop Kumar Raipuria joined the panel. Doctor Fatima Harsha also took part.
Moreover, officials recorded the full procedure on video. The PM report found no injury or struggle marks on the body. Also, doctors conducted a chest X-ray during the process.

Gym Partner Makes Late-Night Fall Claim
Prateek Yadav’s gym partner, Swapnesh Pandey, made a major claim. According to him, Prateek fell inside his bedroom late at night. Because of that fall, he suffered a head injury.
Afterwards, family members took him to the hospital. There, doctors examined him and declared him dead. Since then, everyone had waited for the postmortem report. Now, the report explains one medical reason. However, the viscera report can reveal the complete truth.
Family And Leaders Gather At Residence
Meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav reached Prateek’s residence. Since morning, several family members have stayed there. Aparna Yadav, Prateek’s wife, also remained at the house. Additionally, stepbrother Akhilesh Yadav, sister-in-law Dimple Yadav, cousin Dharmendra Yadav, and uncle Shivpal Yadav reached there.
Besides them, CM Yogi and other BJP leaders also visited Aparna’s residence. They came to console her after Prateek’s sudden death. Meanwhile, details about the last rites have also come out. Prateek Yadav’s funeral will take place on Thursday at 12:30 pm. The ceremony will happen at Pipra Ghat. Therefore, preparations have already started.
PM Report Lists Six Injury Details
The PM report first mentions a bruise measuring 14 cm x 07 cm. It had a red-brown centre. Also, its edges had green-yellow colour. Doctors found it on the front chest. It sat below the right nipple. It also stood 06 cm from the midline. Doctors noted ecchymosis under this injury.
Second, doctors recorded a bruise measuring 19 cm x 12 cm. It also had a red-brown centre. Moreover, the edges had green-yellow colour. Doctors found it on the back-inner side of the right arm. It sat just below the right armpit. Again, doctors noted blood clotting under the injury.
Third, the report mentions a bruise measuring 24 cm x 08 cm. It had a red-brown centre. Also, its edges showed green-yellow colour. Doctors found it on the inner right wrist area. It extended from the elbow to the wrist joint. Again, clotting appeared under the injury.
Fourth, doctors found a 6 cm x 04 cm bruise. It had red colour. It appeared on the inner right wrist area. It sat 15 cm below the right elbow joint. Moreover, doctors noted clotting under it.
Fifth, the report records a 12 cm x 06 cm bruise. It had red colour. Doctors found it on the back-outer side of the right elbow joint. Also, clotting appeared beneath the injury.
Sixth, doctors noted a 03 cm x 02 cm bruise. It had red colour. They found it on the upper side of the left wrist. Again, clotting appeared under this injury.
Report Mentions Death Cause And Injury Timing
According to the report, Massive Pulmonary Thromboembolism caused heart and breathing stoppage. Consequently, Prateek died after large-scale clotting inside the lungs. However, doctors preserved the whole heart and lung thromboembolic material in formalin. They kept it for histopathological examination.
Additionally, doctors preserved viscera for chemical analysis. They handed it to the concerned C.P. under viscera number 752/2026. The report also says all listed injuries happened before death.
Finally, the report gives possible timing for injuries. Injury numbers 1, 2, and 3 appear around 5 to 7 days old. Meanwhile, injury numbers 4, 5, and 6 appear around one day old.
