Will Shankaracharya Surrender If Police Act? Swami Reveals Plan

Swami Avimukteshwaranand says he will cooperate with police action and questions why the claimed CD has not been made public.

Police have started investigating the case registered against Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati. At the same time, the religious leader raised several questions about the allegations. He also asked why authorities have not released the CD that some people claim exists.

While speaking to journalists in Varanasi, Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati made his position clear. He said, “If the police take action to arrest us, we will not oppose them. We will cooperate. The public is watching everything. Lies eventually come out. The story will prove false, if not today then tomorrow, if not tomorrow then the day after. We stood within the reach of your cameras.”

CCTV Claims and Gurukul Clarification

Referring to surveillance, he said Prayagraj has CCTV cameras installed across the city. Authorities placed those cameras to monitor events from a war room and record every activity. He explained that their bus did not park inside the camp because they did not enter the premises after alleged police brutality. As a result, cameras captured all movements during that period.

Addressing the students mentioned in the matter, he said those boys never entered the Gurukul. They never studied there and held no connection with the institution. According to documents submitted in court, they study at a school in Hardoi. He questioned how anyone could harm them when they never visited the place and shared no link with it.

Questions Raised Over the Alleged CD

Turning to the CD issue, the Shankaracharya accused certain people of spreading confusion. He said they repeatedly mention “a CD exists,” yet they refuse to make it public. He asserted that people will raise these questions in the coming days and those concerned must answer them.

Finally, he urged citizens to stay alert. He alleged that some individuals wear religious robes while attempting to weaken Sanatan Dharma. He claimed they identify as Hindus yet act against Hindus while trying to present themselves as defenders of the faith.
