Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi criticised RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat after his Gen Z interaction, while Bhagwat discussed trust and facts during student protests.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat recently interacted with Gen Z members at an international movement event. The event was called India’s International Movement to Unite Nations. During the programme, Bhagwat addressed around 2,000 Gen Z and Gen Alpha members. However, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi criticised him after the meeting.

Priyanka Gandhi Questions Bhagwat’s Gen Z Outreach

Priyanka Gandhi said Mohan Bhagwat does not need to give any certificate to her. Several Congress leaders also criticised the RSS chief after his interaction with young members.

Meanwhile, Congress MP K.C. Venugopal questioned Bhagwat’s concern for Gen Z. He said Bhagwat should ask the Home Minister to resign if he truly cares about young people.

Additionally, Venugopal said the Home Minister should at least apologise to students inside Parliament. He also alleged that the RSS controls the government.

According to Venugopal, Bhagwat must condemn alleged student hardships if he genuinely supports them. He mentioned pellet guns and said students seek accountability. Furthermore, he questioned Bhagwat’s silence and called the action a show.

Bhagwat Talks About Trust And Available Facts

During the discussion on student and police clashes, Bhagwat said he lacked complete information. Therefore, he advised people against reaching conclusions without facts.

Bhagwat said he would trust Gen Z blindly. However, he added that everyone does not know the complete truth. He said both sides discuss matters based on available reports.

Moreover, Bhagwat mentioned some reports claimed anti-social elements joined the movement. However, he said people should avoid conclusions without verified information.
