During the Rajya Sabha discussion, Kiren Rijiju targeted Congress and other opposition groups. He said these parties had repeatedly opposed Lord Ram and the temple movement.

According to Rijiju, Congress and Samajwadi Party leaders had earlier claimed Lord Ram did not exist. He said they described Lord Ram as imaginary.

Furthermore, the minister alleged that these parties now raised donation theft allegations after opposing the temple for years. He claimed they attempted to mislead people through this issue.

Minister questions opposition’s intentions

Rijiju said Congress and Samajwadi Party always stood against the Ram Temple movement. He added that these parties created new allegations after the temple construction.

The Union Minister claimed the opposition wanted political benefits through the donation theft issue. He said people opposing Lord Ram and the temple could not mislead the nation.

Moreover, Rijiju demanded an apology from opposition parties. He said those who opposed the temple for years should apologise first.

According to him, only after an apology should they raise such allegations or create disruption.
