Sonam Wangchuk Praises Indian Railways

Famous educationist and social activist Sonam Wangchuk praised Indian Railways through a video shared on social media. He also expressed hope for similar improvements in government promises. On Thursday, July 30, Wangchuk posted a video on X while travelling by car. He shared his experience of travelling through the newly operated Delhi-Srinagar Vande Bharat train. Wangchuk said he enjoys train journeys and wanted to see the bridge built over the Chenab River. He described the experience as wonderful and said he felt proud of Indian Railways.

Wangchuk Praises Railway Development And Discusses Education Changes

After staying one day in Kashmir, Wangchuk continued his journey towards Ladakh. Meanwhile, he said he felt happy that the Modi government introduced a bill in Parliament for exam improvements. However, Wangchuk hoped these reforms would expand beyond examinations. He said the country’s education system also needs major improvements on a wider scale. According to him, reforms should strengthen education across India.

Social Activist Appeals For Trust Between Government And Students

Furthermore, Wangchuk appealed to the government regarding agreements made earlier. He mentioned written commitments made with him and later with CJP leaders. He requested the government to maintain its promise that students involved in protests would not face legal action. Wangchuk also asked authorities not to register FIRs against protesting students. He urged the government to create an environment of trust among young people, especially students.

Wangchuk Returns To Ladakh After Long Protest Participation

Finally, Wangchuk said everyone should work together for nation building and create a stronger India. He is now returning to his home in Ladakh after recent events. Earlier, he joined a protest organised by CJP and observed a hunger strike. His hunger strike continued for 26 days. After that period, the government accepted his conditions.
