CJP chief Abhijeet Dipke informed protesters of his high fever and body pain, requesting their understanding. He explained, “I have been unwell for several days, but painkillers are helping me continue.” Dipke asked supporters to forgive him if he fails to appear today at Jantar-Mantar and mentioned he requires a few hours of rest.
He assured that by evening, he will return to the protest site. Meanwhile, the party highlighted a serious issue regarding internet shutdowns near Jantar-Mantar, questioning if authorities are preparing another police action. Dipke, despite illness, remains involved in the ongoing movement, showing commitment to the cause.
I’ve been down with a fever and severe body pain for the last few days, but I’ve been pushing through with painkillers.
My apologies if you don’t see me at Jantar Mantar today. I need to get a few hours of rest and recover.
Will be back at the protest site by evening.

Continuous Participation Despite Illness
Since June 20, Abhijeet Dipke has actively led protests at Jantar-Mantar after arriving from the United States. The large crowd, constant noise, and meetings with leaders, alongside managing the team, have prevented him from resting adequately. He maintains his presence and leadership in the protest despite health challenges.
Appeal to Police and Paramilitary Forces
Earlier, Dipke urged police and paramilitary personnel at the site not to use force against innocent demonstrators. He emphasized, “Do not follow orders that target peaceful protesters, but stand with the people.”
He reinforced that the movement will continue on the path of peace and non-violence, seeking resolution through dialogue and democratic action.
