Attackers targeted actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening, October 18. They fired several rounds at his car during the assault. Consequently, bullets struck his driver and an auto-rickshaw operator. Anil Pandit and Harman Sindhu from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the attack.
Meanwhile, claims have linked the gang’s Delhi and Punjab modules with this firing. Earlier, similar Mumbai incidents repeatedly featured alleged connections with the Pune module. Reports identify Shubham Lonkar as the suspected leader of that network.
Earlier cases had pointed towards Pune module
Apart from the October 2024 firing incident, other cases also carried alleged links with Lonkar’s module. These included a threat against Pawan Singh. Additionally, threats and firing cases connected with actor Rohit Shetty reportedly involved the same network.
However, investigators now face a different possible connection in Tiger Shroff’s case. Claims have mentioned Anil Pandit and Harvinder Sandhu for the first time. Reports suggest both maintain close links with Amol Bishnoi.
Delhi-Punjab network comes under scanner
For the first time in Mumbai, authorities suspect possible use of Delhi and Punjab modules. Allegedly, both men claimed responsibility using Lawrence Bishnoi’s younger brother’s name. However, authorities have not officially verified those claims or their authenticity.

Mumbai Crime Branch is examining the attackers’ network, movements and possible local helpers. Investigators are also studying another important angle involving Shubham Lonkar and Zeeshan Akhtar.
Reports describe both men as currently staying abroad. Police want to determine whether either person played any role in the alleged conspiracy.
For now, several claims still require verification through the investigation. These include the Delhi-Punjab module’s alleged role and responsibility for the attack.
