The Enforcement Directorate intensified action against former Punjab minister Sanjeev Arora.
Early morning raids spanned Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Punjab, focusing on properties linked to alleged Dubai mobile phone exports.
Authorities conducted operations at both residential and commercial premises of individuals and entities connected to Hampton Sky Realty Limited.
Sanjeev Arora remains in Gurugram jail following his earlier arrest in a ₹100 crore GST fraud and money laundering case.

Allegations of Fake Exports and GST Fraud
Hampton Sky Realty Limited, previously Ritesh Properties & Industries, allegedly generated around ₹102.5 crore illegally.
The company used fabricated documents and false exports to claim GST refunds, causing a significant loss to the government treasury.
Multiple associated units of Arora came under scrutiny for the laundering and fraudulent practices in this scheme.
Political Reaction and AAP Statement
Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal criticized the Enforcement Directorate, claiming it targeted Hindu businessmen in Punjab.
He urged traders to remain calm, assuring that the Punjab government and the people would collectively counter undue pressure.
Kejriwal emphasized that ED’s focus on minor businesses is politically motivated and does not reflect fair investigation.
