UAE Strongly Condemns Attack
The UAE termed the assault a “brazen attack” and a clear violation of international law. Officials warned that they reserve the right to respond to such provocations threatening regional security.
Strategic Significance of Hormuz Strait
The attack occurred in the narrow Hormuz Strait, a crucial route through which nearly one-fifth of global oil exports transit. Iran’s missile strikes also affected the LNG carrier Al Bahia, escalating tensions further.
