Shiv Sena UBT Crisis Explodes: “MP Kidnapping” Charge Sparks Emergency Showdown in Delhi

Sanjay Raut alleges MPs are being hijacked as emergency whip meeting in Parliament office aims to expose number of rebels in high-stakes political drama

Shiv Sena UBT has entered damage-control mode after reports of MPs turning rebel. Party leadership issued a whip and called an emergency parliamentary meeting in Delhi. The meeting aims to identify how many MPs have actually left the party.
Attendance will determine the real scale of the internal split.

Meanwhile, senior leaders Sanjay Raut and Arvind Sawant addressed a press conference. Raut confirmed that a three-line whip has been issued to all MPs.
He added that the meeting will take place at 11:00 AM in the Parliament office.

Raut Warns of Action Against Absent MPs

Sanjay Raut stated that the party will wait briefly for all MPs to arrive. After that, he said immediate action will begin without delay. He also alleged that UBT MPs are being “hijacked” under political pressure.

Furthermore, party sources indicated strict consequences for non-attendance. If six MPs fail to attend, the party may begin disqualification proceedings. This move could trigger major legal and political escalation inside Shiv Sena UBT.

“Kidnapping” Allegation Escalates Political Tension

In a sharp attack, Raut accused opponents of “kidnapping” elected MPs. He said leaders work hard, win votes, and then face forced defections. Additionally, he questioned whether democracy and constitutional rules are being violated.

Raut also challenged political rivals to break the legacy of Balasaheb Thackeray. He stated that real Shiv Sena exists only where Balasaheb’s ideology stands. According to him, no other faction represents the original political identity.

Raut Questions Leadership and Political Intent

Moreover, Raut claimed he already knows how many MPs are in Delhi. He rejected claims of weakening the party through defections or pressure tactics. He directly targeted opposition strategies and questioned their political intentions.

Finally, he referenced Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his remarks. Raut said the PM should focus on domestic developments instead of foreign travel.
