Apple is preparing to roll out iOS 27, bringing groundbreaking changes to photo editing on iPhones. The update, launching in September, will introduce powerful AI-based features that will change how users edit their photos. These new tools, currently in testing, will give iPhone users new ways to enhance and personalize their images.
iOS 27 Will Offer Exciting New Photo Editing Features
iOS 27 will include several innovative features that will significantly enhance the photo editing experience. According to media reports, three key tools—Extend, Enhance, and Reframe—will allow users to do much more with their images.
Extend: This tool lets users generate additional content in existing photos. For example, if you’ve taken a picture of a tree, the AI can create a garden around it. Users will also be able to expand the frame of the photo to create more space.
Enhance: With this tool, users can adjust the quality, lighting, and colors of their photos. Whether brightening up a dark image or improving the quality of an old photo, the AI will make the process easy and efficient.
Reframe: This tool works with spatial photos, allowing users to adjust the perspective of a photo. For example, you can take a photo from the front and later use Reframe to show the sides, completely changing the perspective of the image.
Other Expected Features in iOS 27
In addition to the revolutionary photo editing tools, iOS 27 is expected to bring several new features. One of the most anticipated additions is an upgraded version of Siri. Apple aims to turn Siri into a chatbot, similar to ChatGPT or Google Gemini, allowing users to interact with Siri more conversationally.
The update is also expected to include satellite connectivity and new Apple intelligence features. These features will enhance iPhones’ capabilities, providing more advanced tools for everyday use.
The iOS 27 update is expected to be revealed in June, with the new features rolling out alongside the latest iPhone lineup in September.
