Google Launches Search Profiles: YouTube and Instagram Creators Can Now Showcase All Content

Google introduces Search Profiles for creators with 1L+ followers, allowing unified visibility across Search and Discover platforms.

Google has introduced “Search Profiles,” allowing content creators to consolidate their latest articles, videos, and social media posts.

This feature applies to creators with at least 1 lakh followers on YouTube, Instagram, or X, and 3 lakh on TikTok.

Currently, the feature is available in the United States, with plans to expand to other international markets soon.

How Search Profiles Work

Users can display all relevant content in one hub, enhancing visibility and simplifying audience engagement across Google platforms.

The profiles appear in Google Search knowledge panels, Google Discover, and can also be accessed via direct URLs.

Creators can link multiple social media accounts, add avatars, bios, websites, and highlight important content efficiently.

Eligibility and Setup

Eligible users must verify follower counts on supported platforms to create or claim their profile on Google.

Profiles require creators to be at least 18 years old and allow customization of content visibility across Google services.

Users can claim their profiles by signing in via profile.google.com/claim and linking social media accounts, after which the profile goes live.

Benefits for Creators

Search Profiles enhance discoverability, consolidate all content in one view, and allow fans to follow creators more easily.

Google will update existing knowledge panels with new avatars, recent content, and direct profile links for claimed profiles.

This initiative strengthens creators’ online presence and enables better engagement with audiences across Google Search and Discover.
