As 19th March approaches, fans eagerly await two major films ‘Dhurandhar 2’ and ‘Toxic’ set for release.
This clash promises fierce competition at the box office. Now, the runtime debate adds more drama.
How Long is Yash’s ‘Toxic’?
According to a Bollywood Hungama report, ‘Toxic’ will have a runtime of approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes.
Though the final cut isn’t locked, this is slightly shorter than ‘Dhurandhar 2,’ which is rumored to last 3 hours and 40 minutes.
Fans Expect Entertainment Despite the Length
A source close to the makers shared, “Toxic’s final length isn’t fixed, but it’s around 200 minutes.”
The creators are confident that the film will have enough entertainment and mass appeal to keep audiences engaged.
Changing Views on Long Films
In the past, long films were often met with skepticism. But in recent years, that perception has shifted.
Films like Animal (2023), with a runtime of 3 hours and 21 minutes, achieved massive box-office success. Similarly, Border 2 (2026) ran for 3 hours and 19 minutes. Dhurandhar (2026) had a runtime of 3 hours and 34 minutes.
All these films with extended runtimes were huge hits. The big question now is whether Toxic will continue this trend.
When Will the ‘Toxic’ Trailer Arrive?
Directed by Geethu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has yet to reveal its full storyline.
However, the teaser has showcased Yash in a dark, intense avatar, stirring anticipation.
The makers have confirmed that the trailer will be launched on 8th March in Bengaluru.
Star-Studded Cast for ‘Toxic’
The film stars Yash alongside Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria in pivotal roles.
With such an impressive lineup, Toxic is sure to keep fans excited for its release.
