Monalisa, a popular figure from Mahakumbh, previously started working with Sanoj Mishra in “The Diary of Manipur,” her first film. However, after accusations of sexual harassment, Mishra canceled the project. Monalisa claimed the harassment happened during shoots in Nepal and Dehradun.

Sanoj Mishra’s Defense

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Mishra expressed disappointment. He said, “I taught Monalisa acting, but now she’s putting me in trouble.” Mishra further clarified that if Monalisa faced any issues, she could’ve spoken up immediately.

Mishra’s Legal Response

Mishra also revealed his plans to file a defamation suit against Monalisa, calling her claims false. He emphasized that her behavior had caused unnecessary damage to his reputation. He also stated, “If she believes she’s right, she can pursue legal actions.”

No Film Ahead for Monalisa

Mishra added, “Now, the film won’t happen, because she hasn’t cared about the matter.” His frustration over Monalisa’s lack of concern led to the cancellation of the film, “The Diary of Manipur.”
