Saira Banu shared a picture with Hema Malini on social media. Also, she expressed joy after meeting the Baghban actress. In her Instagram note, Saira wrote that time felt brief since Hema last visited her home. Hema had earlier come with her cousin sister Prabha. However, when Saira heard about another visit, her heart filled with happiness.
Then, Saira wrote that Hema’s arrival made time feel still. She said Hema looked graceful, just like before. Moreover, that moment took Saira back to 1966. She remembered meeting Hema for the first time on Raj Kapoor’s Diwana set. Also, Saira recalled how Hema’s beauty had left her spellbound. She said no other word could describe that feeling better.
After that, Saira spoke about her friendship with Hema. She recalled their days near Krishna Raja Sagara Dam. Their rooms stood next to each other. Therefore, they often sat in the verandah and talked for hours. Their mothers also stayed with them. Moreover, they joined those conversations and added thoughtful, knowledgeable points.
However, Saira said those memories alone did not move her most. Instead, she felt touched by how little had changed. According to her, some friendships need no effort. They simply continue.
