AR Rahman’s son and playback singer AR Ameen met with a car accident on Monday morning, August 10. The collision occurred near Olympia Tech Park signal in Chennai’s Guindy area. Ameen and his friend suffered minor injuries after their vehicle collided with a cab. Following the crash, they went to a hospital for treatment. Doctors later discharged both, and they returned home. Meanwhile, police have started investigating the incident.

Accident Occurred Around 3:30 AM Near Olympia Tech Park

According to a News18 report, Ameen travelled with his friend around 3:30 am on Monday. They headed towards Guindy when the accident occurred near Olympia Tech Park signal. During their journey, a cab approached from a side road and collided with their vehicle. Consequently, the impact damaged both cars. However, Ameen and his friend escaped without any serious injuries.

Ameen and Friend Discharged After Treatment

After the collision, Ameen and his friend went to Kauvery Hospital for medical treatment. Doctors treated their minor injuries before discharging them. Subsequently, both returned home. Meanwhile, one passenger travelling inside the cab also suffered injuries during the accident. The passenger received treatment at Kalaignar Centenary Super Speciality Hospital. Later, doctors also discharged that person.

Investigation Wing Seizes Both Vehicles

The Investigation Wing has now taken charge of the case. Officials are examining the circumstances surrounding the collision. As part of the investigation, authorities have seized both vehicles involved in the crash. Police continue examining the case, while further information may emerge as the inquiry progresses.

AR Ameen Builds His Career as Playback Singer

AR Ameen continues his family’s musical legacy while establishing himself as a playback singer. Recently, he sang the Tamil version of “Chikiri Chikiri” for Ram Charan’s film Peddi. Additionally, he appeared in the independent track “Bheegi Bheegi.” The track also featured Jasleen Royal, Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur.
