Twisha Sharma Death Mystery Deepens As Family Questions Husband, In-Laws And Probe

Twisha Sharma’s death case has intensified after her family accused Samarth Singh of mental harassment.

Twisha Sharma’s death on May 12 continues to raise serious concerns. Questions now surround her family, in-laws, and police investigation. She went to a parlour from 3 pm to 6 pm. Later, she returned home and watched television with husband Samarth Singh. Around 9:45 pm, both ate dinner together. After that, family members said they went into separate rooms.

At 10:05 pm, Twisha called her mother Rekha Sharma. During that call, she said, “I am trapped.” Soon after, Rekha called Twisha’s mother-in-law Giribala Singh. Rekha told her that “Tuk-Tuk” was crying and asked her to check. When Giribala reached the room, she did not find Twisha. Then, family members checked the top-floor shed. Around 10:20 pm, they found Twisha hanging there.

Mother Alleges Harassment And Drug Abuse

Twisha’s mother has made serious allegations in this case. She said she does not expect justice. According to her, Twisha never took drugs. Instead, she claimed Samarth used drugs and mentally harassed her daughter. Rekha also alleged that Samarth used abusive language with Twisha.

She further claimed Twisha’s father had questioned drug use. After that, someone allegedly spoke about making him apologise by “rubbing his nose.” The family has also expressed distrust in the investigation. They said authorities should have already announced a reward against accused persons. Moreover, they wanted steps like passport surrender. The family also demanded a Delhi transfer and another postmortem. During the conversation, Twisha’s mother broke down emotionally.

Sisters Claim Twisha Felt Trapped

Twisha’s sisters also accused Samarth Singh of mental harassment. They said Twisha once told her sister, “I am trapped, you don’t get trapped.” According to them, Samarth constantly tortured Twisha mentally. They also alleged that after marriage, someone asked Twisha, “Whose child is this?”

Her sisters called such questions deeply insulting for a newly married woman. They also described the remarks as mental torture. The family again claimed Twisha did not take drugs. Instead, they alleged Samarth had a drug addiction. Additionally, Twisha’s sisters said they do not trust the local investigation.

Medical Prescription Enters Case

An exclusive prescription linked to Twisha’s treatment has surfaced now. According to available information, Twisha Sharma received treatment in Bhopal. Psychiatrist Dr Satyakant Trivedi treated her there. In this context, Twisha’s mother-in-law Giribala Singh also made a claim. She said Twisha faced a mental issue like “dual personality.”

However, Dr Satyakant Trivedi refused to share any detail. He cited patient confidentiality and declined comment on the treatment. This development has added another layer to the dispute between both families.

Retired Major General Raises Questions

Vardi Foundation founder and retired Major General Shyam Srivastava addressed a press conference. Twisha Sharma’s parents Navnidhi Sharma and Rekha Sharma joined him. He said, “You all saw what happened with our sister Twisha.” He added that people may call it dowry death, murder, or something else. However, he said everyone must wait until the full truth emerges.

Srivastava said many dowry deaths and other deaths happen across the country. Yet, he called this case completely different. According to him, highly influential people have links with this incident. After that, he alleged that the administration, police department, and system appear one-sided. He said the situation looks as if no law remains.

Army Brother And System Under Focus

Srivastava called one fact most serious. Twisha’s brother serves as a Major in the Indian Army. He said the officer guards the country’s borders through sleepless nights. Moreover, he fights so citizens can sleep peacefully. In areas like Kargil, he faces enemies without fearing death.

However, Srivastava questioned why the system appears against his family now. He asked why this happened when the opposite side had influence and money. He also said the family took more than three days to register the FIR. According to him, police registered it at 2:30 am on the 15th.

FIR, Bail And Samarth Singh

Srivastava said the other side had already filed an anticipatory bail plea before the FIR. He called the sequence a planned effort. According to him, someone described a 63-year-old respected woman as a “non-threat” and secured bail. However, he claimed her conduct showed the opposite.

He asked why people came to threaten his 61-year-old father inside court premises. Srivastava also questioned threats involving 30 people against the family. He asked who gave them the right to comment on his late sister. Finally, he raised the biggest question: where is Samarth Singh? He asked why Samarth remains absconding. Moreover, he questioned why people avoid asking this. He also asked why authorities do not demand another postmortem.
