From Somnath, PM Modi Sends A Forceful Message: No Power Can Bend India

During his Gujarat visit, PM Modi joined Somnath rituals, recalled Pokhran, honoured Sardar Patel, and linked India’s strength to Sanatan consciousness.

PM Modi Begins Gujarat Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his two-day Gujarat visit on Sunday. On Monday, he held a grand road show in Gir Somnath. Moreover, a large crowd welcomed him during the event. After that, he reached Somnath temple and joined Kumbhabhishek and prayers.

Vadodara Event Also On Schedule

Later today, PM Modi will inaugurate the Sardardham hostel in Vadodara. Additionally, he will address public meetings at both programmes. Therefore, his Gujarat visit carries religious, cultural, and public outreach significance. The visit also drew heavy public participation across the region.

Somnath Becomes The Main Stage

During Somnath Amrit Mahotsav, PM Modi gave a strong message on India’s cultural legacy. He also spoke about national confidence and strength. In his address, he said many invaders attacked Somnath temple in history. They also tried to erase its glory.

Modi Says India Cannot Bend

However, Modi said those attackers never succeeded. He added that no power in the world can bend India. Further, he said no force can bring India under pressure. Through this message, he linked Somnath’s history with India’s national self-belief.

Pokhran Test Finds Mention

Then, PM Modi recalled the Pokhran nuclear test of May 11, 1998. He said the whole world stood against India at that time. After the nuclear test, many countries placed several restrictions on India. Still, India did not step back.

India Stayed Firm Under Pressure

Modi said the world reacted with anger after Pokhran. He also said a storm-like atmosphere developed globally. Many countries, according to him, looked at India with anger. Yet, India firmly stood by its decision.

Sardar Patel’s Role Remembered

PM Modi also remembered Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel during his address. He said Patel united India after Independence. Moreover, Patel brought together more than 500 princely states. Modi also said Patel fulfilled the pledge to rebuild Somnath temple.

Modi Speaks About His Somnath Bond

The Prime Minister said he received many opportunities to visit Somnath. He added that he visited this sacred site recently as well. Additionally, he said he shares a special connection with this holy place. Meanwhile, authorities made strict security arrangements for his visit.

Somnath’s Repeated Rise

Modi said invaders viewed Somnath only as a physical structure. Therefore, they broke it again and again. However, Somnath rose again every time. According to him, those who destroyed it failed to understand India’s ideological power.

Culture, Soul And Sanatan Consciousness

Further, Modi connected Somnath’s story with Indian culture. He said Indian thought treats the physical body as temporary. However, it sees the soul inside as eternal. Then, he said Shiva represents the universal soul. He called this India’s greatest Sanatan consciousness.

Self-Respect And Politics

During the same Somnath Amrit Mahotsav address, Modi also spoke about India’s self-respect. He said people even play politics over subjects like self-respect. Through this statement, he connected national dignity with political debate. Therefore, his speech carried both cultural and political messages.

Large numbers of people joined the programmes during the Prime Minister’s visit. The road show in Gir Somnath saw strong public response. Also, people gathered around the temple events. Finally, Modi’s Somnath speech placed heritage, confidence, and national resolve at its centre.
