Yogi Adityanath’s Ayodhya Attack: Temple, Faith And Development Become Political Flashpoint

During his Ayodhya visit, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attacked Congress and Samajwadi Party over past decisions. The statement came amid the Ram Temple donation controversy. He questioned their claims about respecting faith and religion. Yogi said these parties had allowed namaz on Hanumangarhi steps. He asked whether they could allow Hanuman Chalisa inside Jama Masjid. The Chief Minister questioned who permitted such an action at Hanumangarhi.

Furthermore, Yogi said those actions hurt religious sentiments. He claimed his government restored Ayodhya’s identity as a cultural capital. He added that before 2017, people viewed visitors with suspicion. According to him, the situation changed after his government started development work in the city.

Temple, Airport And Development Became Yogi’s Main Focus

Meanwhile, Yogi highlighted the role of Lord Ram’s blessings and Hanuman’s support in Ayodhya’s progress. He said the city’s transformation became visible through several projects. He questioned whether anyone had imagined an international airport in Ayodhya. He alleged that Samajwadi Party leaders opposed the airport project earlier.

However, Yogi said Ayodhya International Airport now connects with major Indian cities. He also mentioned the completion of the grand Ram Temple construction. He claimed no force could stop the temple project.

Along with this, the Chief Minister discussed the Rainshelter named after Nishadraj Guha. He said his government honoured Nishadraj through projects and a grand statue at Shringverpur. He alleged that previous governments tried to create obstacles using the Waqf issue.

Ayodhya Development Took Centre Stage During CM’s Address

Yogi stated that Congress and Samajwadi Party created problems around the temple movement. He accused them of questioning Lord Ram and targeting Ram devotees. He said the double-engine government completed the temple project successfully.

Moreover, Yogi said Ayodhya remained neglected for a long period. He mentioned problems related to electricity, roads, and basic facilities. He said development accelerated after better representatives took charge. The Chief Minister added that he personally worked to push development plans forward.

In addition, Yogi described Ayodhya as the capital of the Suryavansh dynasty. He said the city became a solar city with improved infrastructure. He highlighted the development of ghats from Naya Ghat to Guptar Ghat. He also mentioned the renovation of Surya Kund.

CM Yogi Inaugurates 217 Projects Worth Over ₹432 Crore

Finally, Yogi Adityanath said clear intentions and strong policies helped Ayodhya’s growth. He stated that positive outcomes appear when goals remain focused. During the programme, he inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 217 projects. These projects carry a total cost of more than ₹432 crore. The Chief Minister again criticised Congress and Samajwadi Party during the event.
