WhatsApp Web is currently experiencing a significant outage, causing widespread issues for users. Many have reported difficulties logging in, syncing chats, and sending messages.
According to DownDetector, a website tracking internet outages, complaints began surfacing early this morning. At 11:48 AM, the platform received the highest number of outage reports.
Breakdown of User Complaints
Out of the reported issues, 65% of users reported problems with the website, 27% with the app, and 7% faced login difficulties.
Users are facing specific challenges with WhatsApp Web loading properly. iPhone users seem to experience more issues, particularly with the QR code screen freezing.
Some users also reported trouble syncing their messages, while others noticed delays in message delivery and issues accessing messages on the desktop version.

Currently, WhatsApp has not released any official statement regarding the ongoing outage. As a result, the cause of the issue remains unclear.
