Poll Feature Gets More Control With New Options
WhatsApp has improved its poll feature with several useful changes. Users can now set a final deadline for voting in any poll. Once the selected time ends, voting will automatically stop. Furthermore, users can hide participant names while creating polls. This option allows members to share choices with more privacy. Moreover, the poll creator can edit questions within 15 minutes after posting.
Therefore, users can fix typing mistakes or improve options without creating another poll.
@all Mention Will Alert Every Group Member Together
WhatsApp has introduced the @all mention feature for group conversations. This tool allows users to tag every member at once.
The company designed this feature for important updates and urgent messages. It can help share office closures, school announcements, event reminders, or sudden schedule changes. However, groups with more than 32 members will allow only administrators to use @all mentions.
Even muted groups may receive @all notifications. Users can disable these alerts through WhatsApp notification settings if they want.
Existing Groups Can Create New Groups Instantly
WhatsApp has added another feature that helps users create new groups from existing ones. Users no longer need to add every member again individually.
