The United States and Iran agreed on a two-week ceasefire, however tensions still remain high. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump issued a strong warning to Tehran publicly. Moreover, he said American military forces will stay near Iran until a final agreement happens.

Additionally, Trump shared his message through the Truth Social platform clearly. He stated that all US ships, aircraft, weapons, and personnel will remain deployed. Furthermore, he described Iran as a weakened enemy needing strict monitoring during this period.

Trump Sets Clear Conditions For Iran

Trump also repeated that Iran must keep the Strait of Hormuz fully open. Moreover, he said Iran must not develop any nuclear weapons under ceasefire conditions. Therefore, he warned that any violation could trigger a massive and unprecedented attack.

Furthermore, he added that failure to reach a final agreement remains unlikely but still possible. Meanwhile, he warned that if talks collapse, shooting would begin at a scale never seen before.

Middle East Tension Continues Despite Agreement

Although both sides agreed on ceasefire terms, tension continues across the Middle East region. Meanwhile, Israel launched large-scale attacks in Lebanon soon after the agreement. Furthermore, these strikes caused 254 deaths in a single day and injured more than 1165 people.

Additionally, reports confirmed that a Lebanese Imam also died during the attacks. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Lebanon will not be included in the ceasefire deal.

Iran Responds With Fresh Warning Over Lebanon

Iran responded by demanding that attacks on Lebanon must stop immediately. Moreover, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi issued a strong warning publicly. He said Iran could cancel the ceasefire agreement if attacks continue.

Furthermore, he posted on social media platform X that ceasefire terms remain clear. He stated that the United States must choose ceasefire or continue war through Israel. Therefore, he emphasized that both options cannot exist together.
