Rashtriya Janata Dal spokesperson Mritunjay Tiwari raised questions after the development. He targeted the government and questioned Bihar’s law order situation. On Monday, May 11, 2026, he asked how criminals find shelter in Bihar. Then, he directly linked the matter with BJP rule.
“How Are Criminals Getting Shelter?”
Mritunjay Tiwari said, “BJP runs the government in Bihar.” Therefore, he said the government must now answer one question. He asked how criminals receive shelter in Bihar. Further, he said Bihar criminals kill people in Bengal. According to him, they now challenge the government.

Tiwari said government leaders must explain Bihar’s law and order condition. He claimed that law order has collapsed in the state. Moreover, he alleged that criminals receive protection from power. Because of this, he said their morale has increased.

The RJD spokesperson said those sitting in government must answer people. He argued that public accountability matters in such cases. Additionally, he suggested that the Bihar connection exposes deeper security concerns. His remarks turned the murder case into a political flashpoint.

Responding to a question, Tiwari said criminals create chaos in Bihar daily. He said murders take place every day. Meanwhile, people in government keep saying that no one will escape punishment. They also say criminals must leave Bihar.

Tiwari again claimed criminals gain courage when power protects them. Then, he said they commit crimes with greater confidence. He added that criminals have no caste or religion. According to him, a criminal remains only a criminal.
