Former Union Minister and BJP leader Ravneet Singh Bittu faced an alleged attack in Punjab. Some people threw eggs and tomatoes at his convoy near Ghaseetpur village in Batala. After the incident, Bittu accused Aam Aadmi Party workers of involvement.
According to Bittu, he faced an attempt to harm him during his visit. After the incident, he entered a house in the village for safety. Later, he brought two people involved in the incident near him for discussion.
Bittu accuses AAP workers of attack
During the conversation, Ravneet Bittu alleged that AAP members attacked him. He claimed that people tried to kill him during the incident.
He said people threw eggs and tomatoes at him. Bittu also claimed that several people tried to hold him.
Furthermore, he said he would not leave until the SSP registered a case. He demanded action against those involved in the incident.
Bittu said the BJP planned to begin an anti-drug march from Pathankot. However, he alleged that the AAP did not want such a march against drugs in Punjab.

Ravneet Bittu alleged that more than 100 AAP workers tried attacking his convoy. He made this claim while travelling to a BJP rally in Pathankot.
The rally marked the beginning of the BJP’s drug-free Punjab campaign. BJP national president Nitin Naveen was scheduled to lead the event.
Meanwhile, Bittu accused senior Punjab Police officials of supporting AAP workers. He alleged that some police officials acted in coordination with them.
During an Instagram live session, Bittu claimed he caught some alleged AAP workers. He also said he had earlier suspected such attempts during the BJP’s drug-free Punjab journey.
