BJP national president Nitin Nabin hit back at Rahul Gandhi’s statement. Taking a dig, he called Rahul the “Rahu” of Indian politics. Nabin said Rahul was polluting the country’s atmosphere. He also claimed Rahul Gandhi’s ancestors always mortgaged the nation’s land.
BJP Leader Defends Modi Government
Nabin said Rahul’s ancestors never raised soldiers’ morale. He added that Congress governments remained drowned in corruption. However, he said the Modi government works with a zero-tolerance policy. According to him, terrorism came under complete control under the Prime Minister’s leadership. He further said the Army now works with self-respect.
Nabin Questions Rahul’s Charge
Nabin also questioned Rahul Gandhi over his “traitor” remark. He asked whether securing India’s land amounts to betrayal. Besides this, he asked whether ending Naxalism also means betrayal. Nabin repeated that Rahul’s ancestors had mortgaged the country’s land. He again said they never boosted soldiers’ morale.

The BJP leader said India’s land became secure under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He added that the country’s land also became stronger under his leadership. Therefore, Rahul Gandhi’s remarks have opened a fresh political clash between Congress and BJP.
