Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Gujarat’s Vadodara on Tuesday and joined the ‘NaMo for Viksit Bharat’ programme. During the event, he inaugurated and laid foundation stones for major projects linked with Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. The programme also included an interaction with Gen-Z, where around 6,000 young people participated. During his address, Modi targeted the opposition while discussing India’s development journey.

PM Modi Talks About Developed India Vision
Addressing Gen-Z, Prime Minister Modi said he came to Vadodara to accelerate India’s journey towards a developed nation. He praised citizens for their dedication during cleanliness activities and said their service spirit made him proud. Furthermore, he highlighted that cleanliness created a strong impact on every family.
Modi recalled his call for the ‘Sankalp Ki Sapt Dhara’ from the Red Fort. He explained that Gati Shakti remains an important part of this vision. According to him, stronger connectivity and infrastructure are essential for India’s progress.
Opposition Targeted Over Delayed Projects
Prime Minister Modi said the country’s working culture changed significantly during the last twelve years. He referred to the Dedicated Freight Corridor project and explained its earlier delays.
He said the project discussion started in 2004, while a special company formed in 2006 could not achieve progress until 2014. Modi said files kept moving between departments without results.
The Prime Minister added that people sent him from Gujarat to Delhi in 2014. He told young people that not even one kilometre of the freight corridor progressed during seven to eight years before 2014.
Moreover, Modi said his government accelerated the project after reaching Delhi. He stated that the Dedicated Freight Corridor transformed India’s logistics system.
PM Modi Calls Opposition Critics “Fufa Ji”
Modi said some angry critics would question the freight corridor’s impact on truck drivers. He referred to them as “Fufa Ji” and said they would now find new issues to discuss.
He explained that the corridor would help move goods faster across India. Additionally, rail connectivity would expand into regions that lacked access for decades.
The Prime Minister said Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra’s tribal areas would also benefit through improved rail links. He added that earlier governments announced limited trains, while India now launches new trains regularly.
Modi said the Dedicated Freight Corridor’s final links have now connected. He stated that over 2,800 kilometres of the project stand completed. According to him, this marks a historic achievement for 21st-century India.
Rail Manufacturing And Future Sectors Highlighted
Prime Minister Modi said India created 50,000 modern railway coaches after 2014. He compared this with previous governments and discussed his manufacturing vision.
He highlighted Vadodara’s role in education, skills, and industry collaboration. Modi said the city now represents India’s manufacturing strength.
He also mentioned the country’s first Made in India military transport aircraft project in Vadodara. He congratulated residents after the C-295 aircraft completed its first flight from the city.
Message For Young India And Future Technology
Without naming Rahul Gandhi, Prime Minister Modi criticised those spreading misinformation. He said young Indians follow the power of truth.
Modi said the government focuses on every sector for the future. He added that upcoming industries will depend heavily on electricity and the electric ecosystem.
