Similarly, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav targeted the government. He advised citizens to adopt bicycles as a practical solution. Furthermore, TMC MP Derek O’Brien criticized previous policies, saying leaders exploited votes and hurt citizens in painful ways. He questioned whether West Bengal would reduce VAT on fuel under Delhi-controlled governance.

Additionally, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi raised concerns. She asked which authority would first manage the rupee, diesel, and petrol hikes. She also referenced Mumbai’s “Triple Engine Government” achieving early records.
