NPCI’s New eNACHLite Ends Payment Failures, Makes Auto-Debits Easier

NPCI launches eNACHLite at Global Fintech Fest 2026 to simplify regular payments like EMIs, insurance premiums and SIPs.

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) launched eNACHLite at Global Fintech Fest 2026 in Mumbai. The new facility aims to simplify regular bank payments for users.

The feature will make auto-debit mandates easier for loans, insurance premiums and SIPs. Additionally, it removes problems caused by failed payment processes.

Earlier, users faced issues because payment setups redirected them to external browser pages. Now, the complete process will happen inside the application within seconds.

What Problems Did Users Face Earlier?

Previously, customers setting up loan EMIs, insurance payments or mutual fund auto-debits often left the app. The process moved users to external web browser pages.

However, slow pages, crashes and technical issues frequently interrupted the process. As a result, customers faced difficulties and banks received more complaints through call centres.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad-based NPCI-certified technology service provider Viona Fintech developed and tested eNACHLite. The company is ready to connect banks and lenders with this facility.

How Will eNACHLite Change Auto-Debit Payments?

Now, NPCI has removed the need for external web pages during mandate setup. Users can complete the entire process within one application.

Moreover, customers can create, modify, pause or cancel mandates directly through the app. The system will display required details before confirmation.

Afterwards, users can verify their identity through cards or Aadhaar. They can enter the OTP received on their mobile and complete the process within seconds.

Additionally, failed transactions will show clear reasons. This will help users understand the exact issue behind unsuccessful payments.

How Will Banks Benefit From This Facility?

With fewer technical interruptions, more customers can complete payment procedures successfully. Therefore, banks may see fewer complaints related to failed transactions.

Customer care teams can also identify payment problems quickly and provide better assistance. Furthermore, banks will not need to build separate applications for this service.

NPCI-certified companies like Viona Fintech will manage the technical structure and security process. Customer card details and identity information will remain inside NPCI’s secure system.

Thus, the facility aims to reduce data leak risks while creating a smoother auto-debit experience.
