Nepal Airlines' error in showing Jammu & Kashmir as part of Pakistan sparks controversy; demands for an apology arise from India

Nepal Airlines found itself in a controversy after posting a map on social media. The map incorrectly showed Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh as part of Pakistan. The error quickly went viral, prompting backlash from Indian users.

The Dispute Begins

The controversy started when the airline shared a route map showing Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh under Pakistan’s control. The post spread rapidly across social media platforms. Indian users expressed their anger, demanding a diplomatic protest from the Indian government.

Khesari Lal Raises Concerns

Bhojpuri superstar Khesari Lal Yadav also voiced his concern. On social media, he questioned who had influenced Nepal Airlines to alter the map. He criticized the move, calling it deliberate provocation.

In another post, Khesari said, “Deleting the post won’t solve the issue. You must apologize or explain your intentions.”

As the protest intensified, Nepal Airlines removed the post. They issued an apology, admitting the mistake in the network map.

The airline stated the error was due to incorrect border representation in the map. They assured that internal investigations would be conducted to prevent such incidents in the future.
