LPG Cylinder Refills Now Available via ATM in Gurugram: Quick and Easy Process Explained

A new initiative in Gurugram allows users to refill their LPG cylinders via ATM, offering fast and hassle-free service.

A major change has arrived for LPG users in Gurugram, Haryana, with the launch of an innovative LPG ATM. This system allows users to refill their empty cylinders in just minutes, making the process quicker and easier.

How Does the LPG ATM Work?

The LPG ATM, located in the Central Park Flower Valley residential society in Sohna, is the first of its kind in North India. This pilot project, launched by Bharat Gas under Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), promises to offer 24-hour gas availability to the public.

The process is simple. Users need to enter their registered mobile number on the ATM, followed by OTP verification. They then scan the QR code or barcode on the empty cylinder and complete the payment via UPI, debit card, or other digital methods. Within 2-3 minutes, the machine returns a fully filled cylinder.

Limited Availability for Bharat Gas Customers

Currently, the service is available only to Bharat Gas customers in the region. If successful, the project may expand to other cities and regions in the future. The cylinders provided through this ATM are made from fiber composite material, unlike the usual metal cylinders. These lighter cylinders, weighing around 15 kg, do not rust and feature transparent bodies for easy gas level monitoring.

Why This Initiative Is Important

This innovation is particularly useful at a time when many customers seek faster LPG refilling options. It ensures that users no longer have to wait for delivery or visit agencies to get their cylinders refilled. The LPG ATM addresses these needs by providing an efficient, accessible solution.
