Delhi’s former Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal shared a video about his Instagram account blockage. Kejriwal claimed Instagram restricted his account without giving proper reasons.
According to Kejriwal, he contacted Meta several times regarding the issue. However, he said the company neither explained the account closure reason nor shared recovery steps.
Kejriwal stated that Instagram’s parent company Meta sent him a notice about the restriction. He said the platform suppressed his account in India.
Furthermore, Kejriwal said he tried calling Instagram representatives for clarification. However, he claimed nobody provided any response about the action.

Kejriwal Accuses Government Pressure On Meta
Kejriwal alleged that the central government pressured Meta to block accounts expressing views against the government. He claimed several people contacted him after he raised the issue. He said many users reported similar account restrictions after sharing opinions against PM Modi, ethanol issues, or paper leak matters.
Kejriwal also mentioned that he sent emails to Meta regarding the matter. However, he claimed he did not receive any reply.
He said if such action happened with him, others could face similar problems. Kejriwal alleged that Meta and Instagram received pressure to block critical voices.
AAP Leader Appeals To Affected Users
Kejriwal requested people facing similar problems to contact him through personal messages or comments. He said he would raise their concerns.
Additionally, he said people should unite and question Meta over such actions. Kejriwal urged the company not to surrender before Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said collective efforts could push Meta to avoid such practices. The AAP leader continued raising concerns about social media account restrictions.
