South actress Kajal Aggarwal is currently creating buzz with her upcoming film Ramayan. Meanwhile, she shared an interesting detail about her four-year-old son Neil Kichlu. During an interview, Kajal revealed that Neil knows the complete Ramayan. Moreover, he performs scenes from the epic during his playtime. The actress shared that her son sometimes gives her different roles. He even asks her to become Shurpanakha or Ravana during their home performances.
Four-Year-Old Neil Performs Ramayan Characters At Home
In a recent interview with Shubhankar Mishra, Kajal discussed her son’s connection with Ramayan. She said that Neil knows the entire story and recites Hanuman Chalisa. Furthermore, Kajal explained that she learns because of him. She added that his grandmother taught him these verses and stories.
The actress also shared that Neil performs various characters from Ramayan. One day, he becomes Hanuman. Another day, he becomes Ram or Krishna.
Additionally, Kajal said her house regularly witnesses Ram Leela moments. Neil often tells his mother, “Mumma, today you are Shurpanakha. Today you are Ravana.”
Kajal Aggarwal Prepares For Mandodari Role In Ramayan
Kajal also spoke about her character in the upcoming Ramayan film. She revealed that she is reading books about Mandodari for preparation.
According to Kajal, playing Mandodari feels extremely interesting. She said the character requires deeper understanding before portraying it on screen.
Ramayan Film Features Major Star Cast
The film Ramayan will bring several major actors together. Ranbir Kapoor will portray Lord Ram in the movie. Sai Pallavi will play Mata Sita, while Yash will appear as Ravana. Sunny Deol will portray Lord Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey will play Lakshman. Meanwhile, Kajal Aggarwal will appear as Mandodari in the film. The trailer of Ramayan will release on July 24. Furthermore, the movie will arrive in two parts.
The first part will release during this year’s Diwali. The second part will arrive during next year’s Diwali.
Kajal Aggarwal’s Next Film The India Story
Apart from Ramayan, Kajal Aggarwal will also appear in The India Story. She will play the lead role of a lawyer. The film also features Shreyas Talpade. Additionally, The India Story will release on July 24.
