Reliance Jio changed its ₹195 plan without increasing price. However, the company reduced validity significantly. Therefore, users now face higher monthly costs. Meanwhile, benefits remain mostly unchanged under this updated Cricket Data Pack.

Plan Changes Explained

Jio reduced validity of this plan by 60 days. Earlier, the pack offered 90 days validity. Now, it provides only 30 days usage. Therefore, users must recharge more frequently despite same pricing.

Data And Benefits

According to Telecom Talk, users receive 15GB high-speed data. After data finishes, speed drops to 64Kbps. Moreover, this pack includes only data benefits. Therefore, it does not offer voice or SMS services.

Additionally, users get free JioHotstar Mobile access for 90 days. Therefore, cricket streaming and OTT content remain available. Meanwhile, data benefits and subscription perks remain unchanged.

Increased Cost Burden

Earlier, users paid ₹195 for 90 days validity. Therefore, daily cost stood around ₹2.16. Now, users pay ₹195 for 30 days only. Consequently, daily cost rises to nearly ₹6.50.

Therefore, daily expense increased by approximately ₹4.34. Meanwhile, this change directly increases financial burden on consumers.

What It Means For Users

Users must now spend more each month for same benefits. Therefore, affordability of this plan has reduced. Meanwhile, unchanged data and OTT benefits fail to offset reduced validity. Consequently, customers may reconsider their recharge choices.
