Iran’s Supreme Leader representative in India, Abdul Majid Hakim Elahi, praised India’s diplomacy. According to ANI, he said India can play a major role. Moreover, he stated Indian diplomacy remains very strong in handling this issue. Therefore, Iran sees India as a key contributor.

Earlier, Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Fattali also appreciated India’s foreign policy approach. He stated India can play an effective and positive role in reducing tensions. Furthermore, he highlighted India’s balanced diplomacy. Therefore, he said India holds a special position in promoting dialogue.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi held calls late Sunday night. He spoke with India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Moreover, he accused Israel and the United States of targeting infrastructure and civilian areas.
