Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations are taking place across India with great enthusiasm. Devotees are worshipping Bappa in different forms and decorations. Meanwhile, a special Ganesh idol in Hyderabad has attracted widespread attention. The idol stands at Feelkhana in Begum Bazaar, Telangana. Large numbers of devotees are visiting the location to see the golden Ganesh statue. The idol weighs around 48 kilograms and features unique decoration.

According to organisers, the idol has a layer of pure 24-carat gold plating. More than 3.8 lakh worth of American diamonds decorate the statue.

Additionally, eight skilled artisans worked together to create this idol. The preparation process took around eight months.

Five Metals Create The Unique Structure

The idol includes more than gold plating and diamond decoration. Artists also focused on religious symbols and detailed designs. The statue uses Panchdhatu, which includes five different metals. Its base features brass material.

Furthermore, the fine craftsmanship becomes visible during close observation. The back side of the idol displays artworks showing Lord Vishnu’s ten avatars.

Ganesh Idol Receives Royal Inspired Appearance

The decoration of the statue has become a major attraction among visitors. Organisers said they designed the idol with inspiration from famous religious forms. The decoration follows elements inspired by Maharashtra’s Lalbaugcha Raja. It also takes inspiration from Lord Venkateshwara of Tirumala Tirupati. Therefore, the idol receives a royal appearance similar to Lalbaugcha Raja. The Tirupati Balaji-inspired decoration adds another special element.

As a result, this Ganesh idol looks different from regular statues. Devotees feel a special experience after seeing its grand appearance.
