HDFC Bank is making significant changes to its Regalia Gold credit card’s rewards structure and travel benefits. These changes will take effect on May 15, 2026. Let’s take a closer look at what these adjustments mean for cardholders.
New Travel Benefits for Regalia Gold Holders
Regalia Gold cardholders will soon enjoy new travel benefits. If they upload their boarding pass during a calendar quarter, they will receive two complimentary benefits. These benefits include:
- Free spa services at select wellness centers
- Complimentary airport transfers through Uber
- Buffet offers at participating hotels and restaurants
- Complimentary room upgrades at selected hotels
These perks are available under the Travel Edge Program, designed to enhance the travel experience for cardholders.
Updated Rewards Structure
The new reward structure will also take effect from May 15, 2026. Previously, cardholders earned four reward points for every ₹150 spent. Now, they will earn five reward points for every ₹200 spent. This change slightly alters how cardholders earn rewards on their purchases.
Changes to DCC Charges for International Transactions
HDFC has also made changes to the Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) charges for international transactions. The DCC charge will now be 1.75% for payments made in foreign currencies or with foreign merchants.
Card Reissue Fees
If you lose your HDFC Regalia Gold credit card or if it gets stolen, the reissue fee is ₹199.
Understanding the Boarding Edge Program
The new Boarding Edge Program allows customers to unlock various benefits by uploading their boarding pass. To access these benefits, log into the SmartBuy portal, go to Regalia Gold Benefits, and upload your boarding pass to claim your perks.
