The investigation started after a video showing the incident went viral. The footage showed a car hitting the woman rider on Sunday morning, September 13.

Police Added Attempt To Murder Charge

After the video surfaced, Gurugram police took suo motu action. Officials registered a case at Sector-56 police station.

Furthermore, police began identifying the accused and tracking his location. Investigators examined CCTV footage from the incident area and nearby locations.

The police carefully reviewed viral footage and CCTV recordings. Based on the findings, they added Section 109 of BNS for attempt to murder.

Consequently, a police team travelled to Rajasthan. Officials detained Kalyan Baisla from Dausa during the search operation.

What Happened On Golf Course Road?

Siya, a sports bike rider, went for a ride with friends on Sunday morning. According to the allegation, a car driver signalled her to stop.

However, when Siya did not stop, the car driver allegedly hit her bike. The collision threw her onto the road.

The impact was strong, and the incident reportedly got recorded through an action camera attached to her bike. Later, the video spread widely on social media.

Police To Question Accused After Detention

After bringing Kalyan Baisla to Gurugram, police will question him. Officials will ask about the reason behind the incident.

Additionally, investigators will examine the collision details and the accused’s alleged escape. Police continue further legal action in the case.
