FASTag transforms Hazrat Nizamuddin station parking, making vehicle movement faster and smarter

Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station introduces FASTag-based parking access control to reduce delays, improve traffic flow, and create a more organised system

After New Delhi Railway Station, Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station has introduced a digital parking and vehicle access system. The new arrangement uses FASTag-based entry and exit facilities.

The system aims to make vehicle movement and parking operations faster. Additionally, it reduces delays caused by manual processes.

The FASTag-based access control system will help vehicles enter and leave the station smoothly. It will also reduce manual intervention during parking operations.

Moreover, the digital process replaces several traditional methods. This change can improve parking organisation and support better traffic movement inside the station area.

The system also focuses on increasing transparency and accountability in parking management.

Digital access combines automation with passenger support

The new system does not depend only on technology. Trained and professional staff have also been deployed for assistance.

Therefore, passengers and vehicle users can receive support whenever required. The combination of automation and skilled workers improves access management.

Furthermore, the system helps reduce processing time and creates smoother vehicle movement around the station premises.

This initiative follows the Digital India vision by promoting digital transactions, automation, and technology-driven public services.

SNG Securities and Placement manages new facility

The parking and access control contract has been awarded to SNG Securities and Placement. The Delhi-based company provides security, support manpower, and integrated solutions.

The company has worked with Indian Railways for the last seven years. Earlier, it managed passenger facilities including cloak rooms at New Delhi Railway Station and Delhi Railway Station.

Now, with the responsibility of Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station, the company has expanded its railway services towards technology-based parking and access management.
