Dhruv Rathi, a popular YouTuber, has once again targeted director Aditya Dhar and his movie ‘Dhurandhar 2.’
Rathi criticized Dhar’s work, calling him a “BJP propagandist” after the film’s release on 18 March 2026.
Rathi’s Criticism of Aditya Dhar
In a post on X, Dhruv Rathi attacked Aditya Dhar and his latest project. Rathi remarked, “I called him a BJP propagandist three months ago, and now everyone can see it.”
He added, “In the previous film, he subtly promoted propaganda. But now, he’s gone overboard with it.”
Rathi stated that while the first film presented light propaganda, the second was poorly executed.

User Reactions to Rathi’s Post
Rathi’s post sparked a massive response from users. One user commented, “When someone challenges you, you call it propaganda. It says more about you than them.”
Another user questioned Rathi’s stance on national issues, pointing out that he never posted about Pakistan’s violent attacks but criticized Dhar’s film.
A third user argued, “Is every film you disagree with propaganda? Mere labels don’t make things true.” They emphasized the need for objective analysis.

Controversy Over Propaganda Label
Rathi’s consistent use of the term “propaganda” has raised eyebrows. Critics argue that labeling films as propaganda without substantiating claims misguides the audience.
They urge Rathi to present facts rather than relying on a preset narrative. Without evidence, his criticism seems less like analysis and more like bias.
